ITDESK Solutions Ltd takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect on https://itdesk-solutions.mu, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2017 of the Republic of Mauritius and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We never sell or rent your data. It may be disclosed to the authorities only where required by law.
4. Transfers outside Mauritius
Some of our providers process data outside the Republic of Mauritius, in particular in France and the United States. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2017: contractual clauses, commitments from the provider, or countries offering an adequate level of protection.
5. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), web application firewall, spam protection on forms, access control, and regular backups and updates. In the event of a data breach likely to present a risk, we notify the Data Protection Commissioner within the legal time limits and inform the persons concerned where required by law.
6. Your rights
You have the following rights over your data:
- Access: obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and receive a copy of it
- Rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
- Erasure: request the deletion of your data when there is no longer a reason to keep it
- Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interest or to direct marketing
- Withdrawal of consent: at any time, without affecting processing carried out before
- Restriction and portability: for visitors covered by the GDPR
To exercise these rights, write to contact@itdesk-solutions.mu stating your request. We may ask you to prove your identity if we have reasonable doubts. We reply within one month of receipt.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Office of Mauritius (dataprotection.govmu.org) or, if you live in the European Union, with the supervisory authority in your country.
7. Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit the website. The website currently uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tools. We only use:
